Refill and dose reminders on WhatsApp

Sends dose and refill reminders on WhatsApp, takes refill orders in a reply, and passes medicine questions to a pharmacist.

What it does

A patient-support pipeline for a pharmacy chain. Each prescription becomes a reminder plan: dose reminders at the right times and a refill nudge a few days before the pack runs out. Patients reply to reorder, change a time or ask a question. Refills go to a pharmacist to approve, and questions are answered by a pharmacist, starting from an AI draft.

The problem

Around half of patients on long-term medicines don't take them as prescribed, and many simply run out between refills. The patient loses the treatment and the pharmacy loses the refill.

Approach

The plan comes from the prescription: dose times, pack size and the refill date. Replies are read for what the patient wants: taken, refill, new time or a question. Nothing medical is answered automatically; a pharmacist approves every refill and every answer.
