Process automation

Job intake to job description

Turns a hiring manager's intake call into a job description, screening questions and the must-haves for screening, approved before it is posted.

What it does

An intake automation for a recruitment agency. The intake call with the hiring manager is recorded, or a short form is filled in. From it, a job description, three to five screening questions and a list of must-haves and nice-to-haves are drafted in the client's format. Checks flag missing salary ranges and wording that puts candidates off. The hiring manager approves or asks for changes, and the approved role is posted and fed into screening.

The problem

Writing a good job description took an hour or more per role, intake notes were often incomplete, and the screening criteria lived in the recruiter's head.

Approach

The draft uses only what the hiring manager actually said, and marks anything missing as a question back to them. Must-haves become the exact criteria used later in resume screening, so the role is described once. Nothing is posted until the hiring manager approves.
